The Joint Initiative for Metrology in Biology (JIMB) invites you to participate in the Inaugural World Metrology Day Symposium at Stanford University on Monday, May 22, 2017.

Leaders from Academia, Government, and the Private Sector will give talks and lead panel discussions on how we can drive genomics and synthetic biology to become more like physical sciences, underpinned by robust and rigorous measurement technology and distributed stewardship of reusable resources.

This is a nascent field and we believe that an open discussion amongst leaders whose research or technology development contributes to measurement innovation is one of the most productive routes to advance it.

The event will take place in the in the MacKenzie Room on the third floor of the Jen-Hsun Huang Engineering Center at Stanford University. Visitor Parking is available in the Via Ortega garage or the Roble Field garage.
